Posse of Vancouver police, Transit Police search for and apprehend suspect at a Canada Line Station

The police arrived in dramatic fashion speeding towards the Canada Line Station, hopping out of the cars and running towards the SkyTrain where the suspect was apparently trying to hide and escape on the train but they ceased operation of the SkyTrain until the suspect was found and taken into custody without any violence taking place.

Speculation over what crime the suspect committed ranges from him assaulting someone to him threatening one or multiple people with a weapon such as a knife, it is also possible that it was a misunderstanding and a false police call as he did not seem aggressive or violent and there are some hysterical people in Vancouver and worldwide that call the police under false pretenses especially if a Person of Color or Aboriginal is involved.

The Vancouver police handled the suspect gently but had it not been so crowded with some people recording and surveillance cameras all over the place it is likely the suspect would have been subjected to minor or major police brutality justified by alleging violence or aggression on the part of the suspect and since they don't wear body cameras there would not be evidence to the contrary.
